spider lily A beautiful plant which we saw growing on the riverbank, from a distance resembling discarded paper caught up in the foliage. When we had scrambled around to get a closer look, we found this spectacular wild flower, at least six inches across from the tip of each trailing white frond to the opposite tip, standing about two feet high.
