Doofus the cat, and Devin's legs. She's just a kitten (cat not Dev), about 8 months old, and is a total sweetheart.

She's mainly an indoor cat, but has learned how to dash out of the front door when the lure of chasing lizards proves too much for her. One day I was swimming in the pool when she noticed me there and came right to the pool edge to greet me. She looked a bit surprised, as if she'd only just realised what all that water was for, told me I looked a bit funny bobbing around in there, wrinkled her nose at the chlorine smell, and then remembered an urgent appointment with a lizard that needed surveillance.
